The 1-4 at Derby with 8 men will always be my favourite away match

Great memories Les. I took my quite posh ex to the Roy Aitken game for her first match, amazing.

I was also at the San Siro and Barça 97.

Can't get to many now but fingers crossed for Barça again.

That 5-4 remains my favourite home match, Jack!

I loved that game too, it’s just mental how this club can make you feel

Would also like to propose adding Shearer's last game against the unmentionables down the road onto that beautiful list. What a way to bow out 💪 🖤 🤍

Thanks for the memories, I was lucky enough to have been at 4 of the games you mentioned, Liverpool on the Friday night, Milan in 2003, Huddersfield and the hammering at Old Trafford, no wins but great days out. Leeds on Boxing day was my favorite away game, not sure how many mags were there but the atmosphere was fantastic and got better with every goal.

Smashing read Lee was at all those away trips bar West Brom.

Baku was definitely a contender for the best ever.

The reality for most of us are the times places and memories we have as fans

rather than the actual football, obviously with a few exceptions.

I was at West Brom. Very special. Also Hendon (at Watfords ground), Scunthorpe (early kick off due to power cuts) and all other games during that run to the final. Amazed at the followings at all games. The four of us who travelled together thought we’d be the only ones at Hendon and Scunthorpe. How wrong we were.

I was at most of those games mentioned Les, not the 74 wba one though, only 6 at the time. My favourite of all time is Leeds in 2001 . Absolutely brilliant day that was. Top of the league for Christmas!

I didn’t list a couple but two away derby games live long in the memory, the no away fans game was one and the other was the game where we were in the Fulwell End! Then marched along the pitch side to be deposited in the paddock at the Roker End.

I also remember going to Chelsea in the 80’s and the Old Den 😬👀

That was scary 😧

Getting beaten away at Shrewsbury 2-0 in 1981 is probably my worst..

There's far too many to mention but, seeing as no-one has in the comments yet, Peterborough away in 92-93 we basically took over the town. Great read mate.

West Brom, waiting on the touchline before the match for the police to clear another end for us to go in. What a day, atmosphere and singing.
