I agree, he is sellable but I think for the next four games he’s the best one to deputise for his namesake. We all know Miley’s a class act but the left-hand side is not exactly his position, he’s more similar to Bruno and Sandro in style. Willock can gallop when at full fitness as you say, so I’d have him in until the other Joe comes back.
Willock's definitely at the point where is finding it harder to break into the squad, of reminding fans of the form he had in 22-23 where he was the link-up upfront.
That his muscles, his speed are not the same and his confidence not the same.
With us needing to upgrade, move on players that aren't going to keep up fighting for CL football.
Willock is one of those that Paul and Eddie no doubt will know the right offer will likely have us considering whether to move him on to cover PSR costs and to make room in the already tight midfield.
Not sure on Longstaff going, as we will need a number of homegrown players for Europe and he is one of them. Even with him not comparing to the rest of our midfield
Miley is under 21 and doesn't come under the quota yet.
But this is all a number of challenges that awaits us this summer, with the need to upgrade in a number of places like RW, RCB, GK and backup striker if Eddie feels Osula isn't ready.
He's the right choice to play against teams we can get in behind, but Brighton won't play like that. They're boring AF, even at home, and will dig a couple trenches in front of their box. Little Joe has always struggled to make a mark in those situations.
Spot on.
Can I also throw in the 90th minute run down the line and cross for Bruno to head in the winner v Leicester.
Willocks trickery on the half way line to leave the Leicester player in his dust was class

Everyone remembers that pass he played for Isak against Spurs but I can't remember a single thing he's done since. It's now two years ago.
And 4 years since that scoring run when he was on loan. 8 goals in 14 PL appearances on loan, 6 in 101 since then
