Thanks for the mention Sam, yes we are shite, yes I love the reds, and I trip over the trinity statue often as a season ticket holder. Good luck to you lot, not long before the reds are back
Interesting point of view. ETG left RA such a pile to deal with, I cannot see any quick way back for “the reds”. They have a squad that is so far off the pace it is not funny (sorry, it’s very funny), barely any of them would realise half of what was paid for them (if you could find any takers at all) and PSR won’t let them spend their way out of trouble. I think they are well and truly rogered for 3-5 years…
They're in full on denial mode about that, got told by one of them that it was due to people moving away from their allocated seat to stand with mates - not buying it whatsoever, the gaps were too big for that.
They might have sold all their tickets but there was no way they all turned up. Shocked by it from them, if I'm honest - I despise them but I couldn't ever fault their away support until Sunday.

But did you get back to see Matthew Potts bowl the last over of the day?
I am not sure the author was born in a NE postcode so don't take that to heart

Clearly its a long way from Essex/Surrey/London when you are shite.

Excellent report Sam!
Great match, great report, and yes Monday morning still sees me on cloud nine. Fear not, Eddie, the ship is in steady hands while you’re away.
Excellent, especially about Eddie. Hate manure, but respect for their remaining real fans who stayed to the end
