I love Nick's stuff. Informative and amusing. The standard in True Faith is right up at the top of current football writing

Travelling over from Edinburgh.

Pay heed to the weather forecast and dress appropriately, there's supposed to be some really heavy downpours during the afternoon.

Good read. One point regarding Wissa's age, we have a massive problem signing a proven striker, that problem is Ice Cold Alex. Any striker coming in knows he will be playing second fiddle. Therefore options are limited older proven striker looking to make money or young striker looking to improve restart career.

After all this transfer speculation, it’ll be nice to get back to watching young millionaires enjoy a kick about with our northerly neighbours. The game might be a bit soon for us, so my guess is a 3:2 Celtic win.

2 seasons ago we played Rangers pre season, it was also our first game of the season, they'd already played theirs and even had a competitive cup match, we didn't have to get out of second gear, I don't expect tomorrow to be much different

The Hoops are probably stronger than Rangers, Steve. But fingers crossed you’re right.

That got the juices nicely flowing, Nick.

Wished I was going (away for a few days).

Enjoy the game, night out and Alex tearing them a new one (fingers crossed).

Bracing stuff Nick! Very enjoyable. It’s not many friendlies that feel like proper matches, but this is one (and then some, I’d imagine!)

I’ve just realised our first home game of the season, against Hugo Palindrome’s favourites, is at 8pm on a bank holiday Monday. Blimey there’s another atmosphere and then some!

Enjoy the game mate:)
